Had a great time at this hostel! Needed lodging for two days on Oahu but didn’t have a car. This hostel was amazingly cheap ($34 per night in the female dorm) and extremely walkable to the beach, restaurants, and buses. Touristy area for sure, but great if you are traveling solo. My room was clean and I was pleased to learn that the dorm bathroom was actually in the room and not shared with the entire floor. Everyone in the hostel was chill and mostly kept to themselves. I had a very quiet and relaxing stay. Check in and check out was extremely easy and chill too. Shout out to Emma who was my dorm mate and also worked at the hostel for being very welcoming!

This was hands down one of the best hostel experiences I’ve had in over 10 years of traveling. The vibes were phenomenal—so welcoming, so warm, like one big family. There was always something happening—hikes, movie nights, beer pong—every moment was filled with connection. A huge shoutout to Kyle, Sebastian, and Shelby—Kyle giving out some of the best food recommendations, and with Sebastian were always up for a hike, surf, or activity—both of them were just incredible hosts. I would fly back and stay here again in a heartbeat—thanks for everything!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hostel in Hawaii! From the moment I arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming—it really felt like a home away from home. The staff was incredibly professional, always ready to help with a smile, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. A special shoutout to Daji—he was the best! Super helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Additionally, they offer a variety of daily activities for you to join, and you can book many outside activities directly at the hostel or through their website, which was really helpful. And the location is perfect—it's really close to the beach, and there’s so much to do around the area. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a group, I highly recommend staying here!

Amazing location, kind staff, surf hostel vibes with the best pricing. Will recommend family and friends here. Thank you so much 🤍 Side note: I witnessed someone from a more popular hostel down the road having to come here to store his extra luggage. I had 3 large luggage’s and books bags(kept everything stacked, organized, clean and talked with roommates to make sure they had space) but they didn’t mention anything to me. They kindly asked when I was checking out if I needed storage for luggage’s for a few days while enjoying the island. Much love y’all. Overall if you are wondering if you should book the more expensive hostel for what ever reason… I would recommend saving your money and still catch catch the aloha/ohana vibes. Really great place to stay just blocks from Waikiki beach. Deiji and the rest of the staff/management were extremely cool and friendly. Has a nice kitchen area and a big lounge area, nightly events or daily activity, storage lockers for small bags and a large room for suitcases. Shower water always hot. Free apples/ coffee in the morning. Extended my stay a couple times here and would return in the future.
