The world championship of women's long-distance outrigger canoe racing, crossing the roughly 41-mile Kaʻiwi Channel from Hale O Lono Harbor on Molokaʻi to Waikīkī. Crews start around 7:30 AM; front-of-field boats typically finish between 1:00–1:30 PM, with the last crews in by late afternoon along the Fort DeRussy/Kahanamoku Beach shoreline.
