Brian, Giovani & Joshua are GREAT PEOPLE with GREAT Personalities on Top of being Expert Tree Workers which made my experience with them GREAT and FUN. Brian was very responsive and came out right away and giving me an estimate right away and was very patient in waiting till I was ready to go ahead, after getting several other bids. His bid was very reasonable and he even offered to throw in a few extras, free of charge! What a GUY! When they came they were prepared and went right to work. My neighbor (which I referred) needed a small tree cut and they did that too on the same day! Saving her money. They finished the job and chipped everything, poisoned the stump and loaded all debris to haul away and cleaned up afterwards and even blew the sawdust away! I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY and will use them again. Don't go with someone else that don't respond or give you an unreasonably high quote. Brian and his crew are Very Trustworthy and Fair. I even gave them a BIG TIP as I was so happy! They are fully licensed and Insured and Brian is an Licensed Arborist and the owner.
Will and crew did great work while helping me prune my mango and lime trees, as well as removing 2 avocado trees. Will had good knowledge of the tree species and gave me suggestions on how to trim back my overgrown yard. The work was completed on time, the crew was very professional, and my yard was left looking great.
Brian and his team were so awesome! They were in and out! This tree was causing damage and we needed it gone ASAP. Brian met with us on Sunday for an estimate and the tree was gone before Friday. He did a great job and the crew was professional and very kind. They even took out a little stump we had in the front yard from a tree we removed over a year ago. Overall, great job by Island Ohana Tree and Landscaping. They were hired to cut down a 1) Pak Lan tree (that was getting big and too close to our house ), 2) take out the whole stump by using a stump grinder so I can replant something smaller and lastly, 3) plant a new Pak Lan tree further away from our house. Strong work ethic by all. Cutting down the tree and replanting my new Pak Lan tree went pretty fast, less than an hour. Their biggest challenge came when using their stump grinder on a small slope. They had a hard time starting it up and then later maneuvering the stump grinder on the slope plus they had limited space to work in. As a result, they weren’t able to take out the whole stump although they did their best and worked their okole off. This being said, this is where I have one negative comment in that they charged me an extra $200.00 after the job was done for the trouble they had with their stump grinder. They saw the job area beforehand and gave me the cost total and then changed it because they didn’t take into consideration the slope and the limited space to maneuver the stump grinder. Again, the charge came after the job was done and not beforehand. I would definitely hire this company again because these were good people and hard workers. I would just ensure they understand I will not be paying more than what we agreed upon unless I agree before the job starts.
