Reviews
Cafe Kaila was one of our favorite breakfast spots in Oahu! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You could immediately tell they work together as a team, creating a positive and upbeat atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service was attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. One thing that stood out was the collection of colorful children’s artwork displayed on the walls. It was a wonderful reminder of how much the local community loves and supports this restaurant. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We were also grateful for the ample parking, which made visiting even more convenient. If you’re visiting Honolulu and looking for a delicious breakfast with outstanding service and a welcoming local vibe, Cafe Kaila is definitely a spot you won’t want to miss!
A nice little breakfast spot. It’s not too far from Waikiki so there are a lot of tourists and the lines can get long. We tried the cinnamon French toast, buttermilk pancakes (with fruit on top) and eggs Benedict (half meatloaf half pastrami). I have to say, the food is listed in order of what I thought was my favorite. The cinnamon french toast was by far the best of the three. We also had a side of friend rice but it was so garlicky we couldn’t finish it. It’s not the best breakfast in the world but it’s also not bad.
Recently moved to Hawai‘i and live pretty close to this place. I kept driving by and always saw a huge line, so I finally had to it. Pretty good. I ordered the frittata, which is more like a giant pancake super filling and delicious. My boyfriend got two Benedicts, one with meatloaf and the other with pork, and both were equally amazing expect the egg yolk was fully cooked.
Very busy, probably because the food is good and reasonably priced. Help is very nice and they know how to take care of the locals. Expect to wait for a table. BUT....check this out..first thing they do after you get your water..the condiments get placed on your table.. AUTOMATICALLY!!
10/10. We were seated and served pretty quickly. The food came out shortly after ordering and it was delicious. The pricing is excellent compared to other restaurants. If you have a car, it’s definitely worth driving for breakfast with ample parking. We did go on a Tuesday, so it likely wasn’t as crowded as going on a weekend. Overall, would recommend!
