The deposit was eventually refunded after about four months and multiple follow-ups. The refund process took much longer than initially promised, and communication during that time was limited. However, aside from the refund issue, my overall experience with the rental itself was good. The issue is now resolved, but the refund process could definitely be improved.
No fuss rental experience and good chat with Lana (thanks again for sharing your secret Shrimp recipe)! Car was in okay condition, not entirely fuelled up though. The free overnight parking is a massive benefit compared to otherwise expensive hotel parking.
This was the easiest car rental I have used. Booked online and went to the office inside the outrigger hotel. Took within 10 minutes and I was out to the parking lot across the street to pick up our rental. Same thing after I dropped off our rental car. The best thing is the free parking for your car rental at their parking lot by the outrigger. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian so I parked it at the lot and walked back and forth, easy walk. Will save you lots of parking fees. Great service also Both the ladies that helped me were super nice and helpful. Thank you Roamer Will definitely be back when I need a vehicle
BEWARE! These guys sell the dream of all inclusive price but the insurance isn't included but is part of a package you need to buy to have all the stuff they say is "included". Also a security deposit is designed to never be charged. They have taken the $200 on top of my rental of over $200 per day and say it will be refunded in 2 weeks. This is total BS. A security deposit should never be charged. BEWARE!
Easy seamless rental! They had multiple options available same day. The best part is pre-overnight valet parking in Waikiki. Most parking in the area cost up to $50 per night. You just can’t beat it. Better than budget hands down. Lower wait times to get the rental too.
