Forever one of my favorites, and literally my favorite coffee shop on island! Everything is extremely high quality, they care about quality and precision vs. trends, and nothing is overly sweet which I love. This time I got the Americano which was SO good, the strawberry matcha which is by far my literally my favorite on island and has a good amount of strawberries! High-quality coffee, matcha, hojicha - they don’t miss. Shoutout Vincent and Rod!!

Drip 1.0 is where I first learned that specialty coffee was a craft and that genuine hospitality could still be found in the hole in the walls and cozy mom and pop shops tucked away in the unexpected corners of the town squares and city blocks. Vince and Kelsie poured themselves into every little detail in every cup, every plate, and every accent on the walls. Their passion, generosity, and warmth were infectious and grounding. In Drip 2.0 they poured themselves into a new dynamic space and an expanded team of young craftspeople. I have always and continue to regard them as the one of thee most elevated and technically excellent cafe experiences on Oʻahu. As someone who is also in the cafe business here, I admire and respect the Drip team and look to them as mentors and examples. If you are in downtown Honolulu this is the place to be for coffee, matcha, ono bites and the best vibes. We love the drip at Drip.

This is the best speciality coffee in Honolulu. I mean they are making great pour over options. Take a look at the menu. Not just speciality because they make lattes. That’s a general term. This is quality and great coffee. Come here if you’re in the area. Drive 30 minutes and come here and get your beans. Come here if you’re on vacation.

If you want good coffee - This is the place to go! Some coffee places have good barista, but they might not be as detailed about the craft. However, drip studio barista’s are extremely detailed and truly love and care about the craft. You can tell the difference. My wife said that the drip Royale is the BEST specialty drink she’s had EVER HAD in her whole life!! She said she didn’t want the drink to end. You also know immediately that this space is not a space to bring your laptop and do work, but a space to connect with people. It doesn’t have many outlets and you only get one hour 20 minutes per table. Which I think is rare to find nowadays in a world that is hurried, and have no time to slow down and connect. This is a practice of being unhurried. It’s a GEM!

What a dope spot!! Vince, rob and Bella are the dream team, the matcha was AMAZING, some of the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t get food but my friend did and the avocado bagel was loaded and delish. Definitely will be back!
