Oahu Local corrects errors quickly and openly. If you think something we published is wrong, tell us and we will check it.
How to request a correction
- Use our contact form and choose “Report an error.”
- Paste the link to the story and tell us what you believe is wrong.
- If you can, include a source that shows the correct information.
What happens next
An editor reviews every request. When we confirm a mistake, we fix the story and add a correction note at the end that explains what was wrong and what is right. When we add significant new information, we show an “Updated” date at the top. We do not quietly delete published stories.
