Surf contest season on the North Shore

Winter swells bring the big contests to the North Shore. Contest dates are holding periods: organizers run heats only on days with good waves, so check the World Surf League page each morning before you drive out.

  • HTA Haleiwa Pro (shortboard and longboard), Nov. 5–14 at Haleiwa Alii Beach Park.
  • Lexus Pipe Masters, Dec. 8–20 at Banzai Pipeline. It is the final event of the 2026 Championship Tour.

Every week

  • Haleiwa Farmers Market: Thursdays, 3–7 p.m., at the Waialua Community Association’s Historic Haleiwa Gym property, 66-434 Kamehameha Highway (FarmLovers Farmers Markets).
